Internet Explorer 8

Internet Explorer 8 Stable is available for download at Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Page. Microsoft, as usual, claims that the new version will be faster and more user-friendly and secure. This version has few additions – Accelerators, Web Slices, etc.

With the start of Netscape/Mozilla, Opera and Safari, Microsoft lost its Internet Explorer users, but still it is said that 67% of the world’s internet users use IE. Google’s Chrome has now started to eat IE users. It is said that Windows 7 will not have IE packed with it.

I haven’t tried my hands on IE 8 yet. Mozilla is far better :)
