Facebook Usernames have gone live

Facebook usernames have gone live and you can get one at facebook.com/username It’s one of the trending topics on Twitter.

How do I?

Just point your browser to facebook.com/username! If you aren’t logged in, you need to login first. Once you land on the username page, you’ll be presented with username suggestions like firstname.lastname , lastname.firstname and few other options. Or click the link right below the suggestions to create your desired username. Be informed that this is permanent and you will not be able to change it again! Also, you are permitted to use characters (A-Z), numbers (0-9) and dot.

Why should I?

• Professionally Shortened URL.
• Easy to share (on Twitter, forums, etc)
• Easy to remember (depends on how your username is ;) )
• And easy to be typed ;)
