Facebook for Sony Ericsson is an application by Sony Ericsson that comes packed with few mid-end Sony Ericsson J2ME phones like C510, W508, etc.
The application helps keep you connected to Facebook, update your status messages and view your friends’ updates (news feed). Clicking on a friend’s update will take you directly to their profile page on your phone’s default browser.

Here are two applications. One among them is the main application where you can update your status and view your news feed, and the other, named homescreen, shows your friends’ updates in your home screen, similar to the home-screen feed ticker in mid-end phones.
Facebook Main works flawlessly on my G502 but HomeScreen shows up an application error.
PS: I don’t think the application will work on older phones like W810, K750. If it does, let me know.

The application supports only a few phones, as it’s primarily made for mid-end/high-end phones and comes with manufacture. What error do you see?
ahm homes screen doesnt work on my SEc510,, it says, application error.. why?
HomeScreen doesn’t work when it is run from your applications directory manually. Your C510 comes with Facebook application by default, so you don’t have to install this.

I would kindly request you to upload the .jad file which is necessary for the installation of this application.
I am using K530i and even the heaviest application like Hanashi(by Sony Ericsson) run smoothly, but both of these facebook applications shows “operation Failed” when installed.
So, please it’s a humble request to put the .jad files of both this facebook applications to install successfully.

Would suggest you to try JADMaker – http://www.josephcs.com/redirect/jadmaker. However, Sony Ericsson phones do not require you to add JAD files, yet you may try
what version is this ? Coz i have version 1 but can’t comment, do you have the ver. 2 app ?
i bought a c510 having pre installed facebook.
But i lost it after flashing it. So i installe facebook homescreen app from u. Unfortunately it was not signed and hence it asks permission for auto-start and internet access. Which is irritating. So will please give me the signed version.

This is not a signed version. You can download the signed version officially from your Sony Ericsson Fun Portal @ fun.sonyericsson.com from your mobile.

i mean in original phone which already have facebook application in the application there have the same application in messaging
so have the installer for install it in messaging?
i have a sony ericsson w995,but there is not the facebook application in it…is it possible to install it in the phone??i have download the homescreen one,but i cant get the installation file!!!!
Yes, you can install it. Homescreen has some issues (I have already posted and many comments say so). The Main app is expected to work. Copy the JAR file to ‘Others’ folder in your SE and install from there through ‘File Manager’ (on your phone).
