Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2
Sony Ericsson has announced yet another phone in the XPERIA series – the XPERIA X2. The announcement was made early this September and the phone is expected to hit the market this November.
The XPERIA X2 has got virtually everything that a typical mobile power user requires. Starting from a large 3.2 inch 800×480 pixel screen to an 8 Megapixel camera, the phone stands out from the crowd with advanced features. Sony Ericsson has released two new W205 & W395 mobile phones in India that belong to the affordable Walkman generation. The phones satisfy the basic needs of this generation – TFT Display, average display resolution, better camera, EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 support, memory expansion, media player & TrackID. TrackID is an awesome service in Sony Ericsson’s mid-end phones. The service is also available on low-budget phones like W350. TrackID records a short music clip (from external source or FM) and uses special algorithm to recognize the song and displays the Song name, Artist info and Album from its database powered by Gracenote. Nokia Launches 6700 & 6303 in India
Nokia has today launched two new camera-centric mobile phones in India – Nokia 6700 Classic & Nokia 6303 Classic priced at Rs.14,000 and Rs. 8,000 (INR). Nokia 6700 Classic, being a mid-range phone, features a 5MP autofocus camera and LED flash that can take shots at 2592×1944 pixels and is equipped with future-ready 3G HSPDA of an whopping 10Mbps data transfer. The phone comes with an integrated A-GPS and Accelerometer sensor. Nokia 6303 Classic is a budget phone featuring a 3.15MP autofocus camera and is equipped with LED flash as well, but lacks 3G. Both 6700 & 6303 sport a stainless-steel body and weighs 116 and 96 grams respectively. The phones are equipped with 16M color display, Flash Lite 3, a 3.5mm audio jack and stereo FM with RDS. HTC Hero – Yet Another Android
After surprising its Indian Fans with the release of HTC Magic in India, HTC hasn’t failed to surprise its fans across the globe. Ubercool LG GD900 (Crystal)
After using LG KG800 (Chocolate) for a while, I started to hate LG for its slow Processing especially when it comes to GIF Animation, as it takes years to process every single frame and display them on screen. Few other things that I hated are – terribly slow scrolling inside the web-browser, keypad, slow response, too many ‘Done’/'Settings Changed’ pop-ups and finally, incompatibility with most JAVA Applications/Games. Contrary to this, few other things made me love the phone – touch sensitive keys, stylish outer case and awesome clarity on its 1.3MP camera and its crystal clear display. Free Mail Alerts as Text Message (SMS)
Yes, you read it right! Get Email alerts on your mobile as an text message (SMS) irrespective of the service/email provider! You’ll just have to make sure your email provider supports Mail Forwarding. This could be found somewhere inside your Mail Options/Settings. If you are a Yahoo! user, you’ll be able to find it in your Mail Options –> Forwarding and for GMail, this will be located in your Mail Settings –> POP and Forwarding Tab.
