Android-Powered HTC Magic Comes to India
Finally, we have India’s first Android-powered Smartphone, the HTC Magic. And this is brought to India by AirTel. The phone is available at AirTel Centres and also at HTC resellers at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cochin, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Patna, Pune. The phone is priced at roughly 30,000 INR at AirTel Centres. AirTel has got a special package that includes applications like Hello Tune Manager, Portfolio Manager, Whether, MobShare, In-Mobile Search and City Search. And also, free data transfer of 100MB per month for 6 months.
About HTC Magic
HTC Magic is yet another PDA from the Taiwanese Mobile manufacturer HTC. HTC Magic works on Android Operating System (Read more about it here). It has a 320×480 Screen of 3.2 inches with Accelerometer and Handwriting Recognition. The phone is equipped with Class 10 GPRS and EDGE, 3G with HSUPA and HSDPA, WiFi (802.11b/g) and Bluetooth with A2DP, what else do you need :). With an autofocus camera of 3.15 MegaPixels with Video and Video calling feature, Magic proves to be the best as it runs on Qualcomm 825Mhz processor with support for Threaded SMS view just like iPhone.
The phone is available in two variants – Black and White. The white variant is displayed above.
With awesomely cool features, this phone is certainly an iPhone 3G killer as it is offered for the same price in India.
